Sofenzi – Terms of Service (2025)
Welcome to Sofenzi Furniture Studio. These Terms of Service outline the policies and conditions that govern all purchases, custom orders, deliveries, and services offered by Sofenzi. By placing an order with Sofenzi, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Ordering & Payments
- Orders can be placed only through WhatsApp or by visiting the Sofenzi factory and studio in Bengaluru.
- A 50% advance payment is required to initiate production. The remaining 50% must be paid before dispatch.
- Delivery will only be initiated once full payment is received. Sofenzi does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Production and scheduling begin only after advance payment confirmation.
2. Customization Policy
- Customers may customize fabric, color, configuration, and length within design limitations.
- Design alterations that affect structural proportions may incur additional charges and extended timelines.
- Customized products are made-to-order and therefore non-returnable.
3. Materials & Quality
- Sofenzi products are crafted primarily using Neem wood/Silver wood for the frame and commercial-grade plywood where required.
- Seating foam: 40 Density branded foam for firm, long-lasting support.
- Backrest foam: 35 Density branded foam for balanced comfort.
- Softy branded foams are used where softer zones are needed.
- Support system includes zig-zag springs and elastic belts based on the model.
- High-quality upholstery fabrics are available in four categories: Premium (base), Premium Plus , Ultra , and Ultra Plus.
4. Warranty
- All Sofenzi sofas are covered under a 12-month (1-year) structural warranty from the date of delivery.
- Warranty covers defects in frame, joints, foam sagging under normal use, and workmanship issues.
- The warranty does not cover fabric wear, stains, fading, burns, or damage caused by misuse, relocation, pets, moisture, pests, or unauthorized repairs.
5. Delivery & Access
- Sofenzi provides free delivery for locations within 20 km from its factory.
- Deliveries across Bengaluru city beyond 20 km are available at a nominal charge of ₹50 per km.
- Delivery beyond Bengaluru city limits is currently not available.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate site access before placing an order.
- Minimum access dimensions: Staircase width 40 inches; Service lift 36” (depth) × 72” (height) × 48” (width).
- Sofenzi’s delivery team can move furniture up to 3 floors via stairs; above that, a service lift is mandatory.
- If the delivery vehicle cannot reach the building, the team will manually carry the product up to 100 feet (30 meters) at no extra cost. Beyond that, handling charges apply.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, the product will be delivered to the nearest accessible point and Sofenzi’s delivery obligation will be considered fulfilled.
- If there is no space to keep the furniture (e.g., during renovation), Sofenzi will place the item in the nearest safe area. Redelivery requests will incur additional charges.
6. Returns & Cancellations
- All Sofenzi sofas are custom-made and non-returnable once production begins.
- Cancellations can be made within 24 hours of placing the order. After this window, the 50% advance payment becomes non-refundable.
- Refunds are not applicable for site access issues, delivery restrictions, or incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must confirm delivery access dimensions, floor levels, and lift availability before placing the order.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring full payment before dispatch and for providing accurate delivery information.
- Sofenzi is not liable for delays, damages, or failed deliveries resulting from inaccessible locations, incorrect details, or pending balances.
8. Liability & Limitations
- Sofenzi will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of property, or costs arising from delivery or installation delays caused by third-party circumstances.
- Sofenzi reserves the right to modify materials, processes, or designs for product improvement without prior notice.
