At our company, every product is custom made to fit your needs and space perfectly. However, even with customization, it’s important to ensure your home’s access points accommodate the delivery and placement of your new furniture.

 Minimum Access Requirements

To safely deliver your custom furniture, the following minimum dimensions apply to your home’s access pathways:

  • Staircase Width: Must be at least 40 inches at the narrowest point, including handrails and other fixtures.

  • Service Lift Dimensions: Minimum lift interior required is 36 inches deep, 72 inches high, and 48 inches wide.

These measurements represent the smallest spaces through which our delivery team can maneuver your furniture without risk of damage.

How to Measure and Prepare Your Space

  • Doorways and Hallways: Measure width and height of front and interior doors along the delivery path, as well as the tightest spots in hallways. Keep in mind that furniture often requires turning, so measure corners where items may pivot to ensure clearance.

  • Stairs and Landings: Check stair widths and ceiling heights on stairwells, ensuring the space allows furniture to be carried upright and turned if needed.

  • Service Elevators: For apartments or multi-story buildings, measure elevator doors and interior dimensions. Lifts smaller than the minimum noted make furniture delivery impossible without alternative arrangements.
